The impact of in-store signage on consumer purchase decisions

As the pandemic has gone to the backfoot and people have begun to come out of their homes, the rush at departmental and grocery stores has also started to rise. As the arrival of new customers is constantly increasing, marketers are using different strategies to attract customers and increase their sales.

One of such old-school strategies is the use of in-store signage. In-store signs are basically meant to convey a small piece of information in relevance to any product or offer available in the store. These custom signs can be placed anywhere in the store as they come in varying sizes and shapes.

Most of the customers who enter the store look for discount offers and low prices. Such offers can be mentioned on In-stores signs which can attract the customer to a specific product. It has been observed that such offers and discounts affect the purchase decision of consumers positively as most of them often look for low prices.

Another purpose of these signs is to recall the customer to a product they have already tried. Whenever a customer visits to buy a product again which they have already tried before, it is most likely that the customer will buy that product. But when a sign with the description of that product appears constantly, it affects the purchase decision of the customer.

In-store signs can be created as the requirements of the store. If you have a large-sized store then small in-store signs won\'t work for you. The same is in the case of a small store where placing large signs seems quite difficult. Also, you can get custom engraved signs which are designed as per your needs and the requirements of your customers.

It has been found that 70 percent of the customers are influenced by the in-store signs and made decisions to purchase a product. Thus, in-store custom signs can create an impact on the customers of a store. Although using In-store signs is an old strategy, it is still equally applicable and effective even in the long run.
