Victorian tiles are the descendants of the contemporary Quarry tiles. These tiles are known as Cuban tiles, Encaustic tiles, Hydraulic tiles, and Cement tiles. The china Victorian Tiles supplier’s authentic Victorian tiles are ceramic tiles composed of clays and ground glazes and fired in a kiln. However, these tiles usually face the problem of dampness and salt problems. So, therefore there are some cleaning agents which help to clean these tiles.

The Victorians typically fit house surfaces, counting hallway floors with intricate and exciting patterned designs that sometimes integrate encaustic tiles. Also, they are suitable for Pouch floors and walls tiles, including dado, skirting, and feature tiles in eye-catching designs; restroom and kitchen walls in much simpler hues of off-white, and garden tracks, often in black and white checkerboard tile style with a border.

How do you clean Victorian tiles?

Victorian tiles are easy to maintain and easy to clean by firstly sweeping, then vacuum-cleaning up any surface wreckage. You can mop the tiles with a weak solution of washing up liquid in hot water.

Encaustic tiles with their lively patterns have their precise wants due to their improved porosity as they are not a single color throughout like other floor tiles. The colors in these tiles, as ordinary oxides, are applied while the clay combination is still in a semi-liquid state and hardens into the tile surface. They quickly absorb the liquid into opened Encaustic tiles, and they will easily stain without protection.  Therefore these should permanently be sealed before being installed using an appropriate product.

If you want deep to clean these tiles on heavily soiled and neglected areas, use the detergents with water, leave them for a few minutes, and then scrub them. Also, you can clean them with a brush or black pad fitted to a buffering apparatus. Extract the soiled solution with a wet emptiness and then rinse carefully with water and vacuum again. To slip off waxes and acrylic sealers, a more substantial 1:2 dilution is beneficial.

Moreover, if you have a glue carpet on these tiles and want to remove that carpet, then you should use proper adhesive and cleaner to remove heavy dirt build-up and adhesives. Further, if you have a cement or grout haze on the tile, utilize a phosphoric acid liquid that can break down the cement. Extract solution with a wet emptiness and then rinse carefully with water and vacuum again.
