Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase had an interview with the Game Informer where he revealed that the video game developers on his team have finally agreed upon a decision regarding the number of episodes that the "Final Fantasy VII" remake will have. However, he also revealed that the team is also open to more revisions on the planned episodic release of the video game remake. Also, the news website Yibada reported that Square Enix is going to release a bundled version of the episodic "Final Fantasy VII" remake in 2019. It was first reported that the remake will be first released worldwide on 2017, and the following episodes will be released starting on 2018.
