Always keep the amount of lubricating oil

Using the differential lock correctly

The wheel-to-wheel differential lock of the rear-drive axle allows the right and left wheels to automatically differentially speed when the vehicle is turning, so as not to wear the tires and cause some mechanical damage.

Assemble the differential

During the maintenance process, if you reassemble couplings such as differentials, driven gears, etc., you have to apply LOCTITE thread locking glue on the coupling threads and close them with the specified torque to make sure that the coupling bolts are locked. If unwanted noise is found during use, don’t drive forcibly. Repairing and dismantling should be carried out instantly.

Overload should be avoided

The design load capacity of the Howo sinotruck rear drive axle is sixteen tons, and the wall thickness of the general machine axle housing is sixteen mm. Severe overload and load concentration will cause tearing and deformation of the axle housing. In use, it has to be loaded according to the load specified by the driving circumstances.
