Documents required for GST registration

GST Registration is mixture of Sales tax, Excise and other roundabout assessment laws pertinent discounted of merchandise and ventures.

GST Registration Process is 100% online and there is no requirement of submission of physical documents to GST Department. Every product goes through multiple stages along the supply chain before the final sale to the consumer. Submission or attachment of required documents is compulsory for successful processing of GST application.

GST is mandatory for:

  • Companies with turnover of more than Rs 20 lakh (supply of services) and Rs 40 lakh (supply of goods) annually.
  • Businesses making inter-state outward supply of goods.
  • Agents and brokers, selling on behalf of taxable suppliers.
  • E-commerce sellers/aggregators if total sales are less than Rs 20 lakh.

c)      Other information (If any)

2)      Private Limited Company

a)      Certificate of Incorporation

b)      PAN card

c)      Digital signature certificate

d)      DIN number

e)      MOA and AOA

f)       Board resolution signed by the Directors

g)      Registered business address

h)      Identification proof of all the directors

3)      Limited Liability Partnership

a)      Address proof of the LLP

b)      PAN card of the LLP

c)      LLP Agreement

d)      Name of the partners and other information (If any)

GST Registration Process is same for every type of Business. GST registration usually takes between 2-6 working days.
