As travelers, Blue Ocean Apartment has a plethora of possibilities for those looking for a view of the water. The Currumbin Loop, sometimes known as the Blue Ocean Loop, is the greatest alternative. This promenade begins at the complex\'s front entrance and may be seen from the balcony. You follow this walkway south via the Palm Beach Parklands area, then through the natural reserve area with bush turkeys and butterflies, and then along the Boardwalk through the wetlands area as you proceed up the Currumbin River. The Boardwalk provides excellent riverside views up the river, as well as views of the hinterland beyond. When the tide is in and the wetland area is submerged in fresh seawater, numerous little fish may be seen swimming along and under the suspended walkway, and occasionally a larger one swims beneath you, which can be a tremendous treat for the kids. Turn left at the end of the boardwalk and pursue the pathway spots along and under the Thrower Drive Bridge, past the skateboard activity park, past the Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club, and over a small bridge to the Currumbin River walkway next to and parallel to the Currumbin River freeway overpass. This boardwalk connects you to the Currumbin RSL Club\'s parking lot, which is located on the river\'s edge. Simply continue the walk back down the river past the RSL Club, past the Rowing Club sheds, and on to \"The Boatshed,\" where you will find a coffee shop as well as paddleboard and kayak rentals. The trick is to take the pathway down under the Thrower Drive bridge, turn around, and then cross the bridge to the opposite side of Currumbin Creek on the footpath. Continue on this path until you reach the car park entrance, then turn right and cross the parking park to meet the start of the board walk back through the wetland area, then follow the footpath back to the flat. The view along the coast to the surfer\'s skyline is spectacular at the end of this hike.
