A Happy Adventure on Valley of Flowers Trek

While serving as a frontline worker, I couldn’t track time and seasons. When things got better, I decided to leave for the Valley of Flowers trek from Delhi. I had chosen this place a long time back but couldn’t get a chance to visit.

Since I found out about it, I used to suggest to people who were depressed to go for the Valley of Flowers trek. Finally, when I was standing in the valley, I could see the sun shining brighter in the valley of flowers, and even the breeze felt different to me.

I took a bus to reach Govindghat for the Valley of Flowers trek from Delhi. I booked my trekking trip online and joined the guide with other trekkers in the group. We started moving forward in the morning, and as we got closer, we could see some flowers growing on the edges of pathways. The floral path greeted us with a motivation to move forward to see the valley full of a variety of flowers.

We hiked our way to Ghagharia and, when we reached there, the beauty of our trek started. Later the hike to the valley began showering me with the refreshing aura I was seeking from it. I got engrossed in the trekking adventure more than the idea of getting to the valley.

The valley was shining with natural colors. Serene nature and splendid weather with my new friends in the trek made that trek a perfect memory to cherish. When I walked in the middle of those flowers dancing in the golden hue of the sun, it felt like heaven on earth. Valley of Flowers trek had sheer beauty all over the place, and I didn’t want to miss shooting any of that beauty. Everything was just beautiful and serene with a riot of colors.

Our guide was of great help with knowledge about the valley and its flowers. It was quite a comfortable trip due to its moderate distance and hike. Valley of flowers amazed us with the nuances it offered every minute. It was the perfect mix of everything like patchy drizzle, the chill of the breeze, changing landscape every minute, moving clouds around us. Especially, walking on the narrow-steep path, crossing the river over narrow bridges and rolling stones got saved in my memory lane.

I planned to go to Hemkund Saheb after the Valley of Flowers trek. I carried home tonnes of great memories from the trip that I will cherish for my life. Its essence stayed with even after returning home. I only had to close my eyes, and I found myself standing right in the middle of the Valley of Flowers while looking at the sunset.
