Lorenzo Vangelisti is a manager and investor with more than 20 years\' experience in international finance. His proved career led him to hold several positions of responsibility in areas including banking, finance and asset management. Today he leads Valeur Group, an independent firm with extensive experience in asset management, investment advisory, risk management, trading and real estate.

Lorenzo Vangelisti\'s professional path: education and the early days

After gaining wide experience abroad, Lorenzo Vangelisti founded his own financial firm Valeur Group. Thanks to his specialist skills, the Group has now become a solid reality consisting of five companies. Lorenzo Vangelisti was born in Mendrisio (Switzerland) in 1977. His career started after a strong and specialized education: after receiving a high school diploma from the \"Scuola cantonale di commercio\" in Bellinzona (Switzerland), he obtained two certificates issued by international institutes - the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate. After this, he started working as Assistant Relationship Manager for the Private Banking Division of Credit Suisse International. He later specialized in structured products and derivatives and took on the role of Structured Products Specialist. Subsequently, a raise in his professional path was awaiting: in fact, in 2006 he was appointed Vice President of the Private Banking Network of Credit Suisse Investment. The following year he started a new professional adventure and moved to London to hold the role of Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division (Credit Suisse Investment Banking), with coverage of institutional clients in Italy, Switzerland and Monaco. The experience he gained throughout his career eventually led him to establish his own financial firm: this is how Valeur Group was born in 2010.
