Chemiluminescence imaging has become powerful tool in biochemical analysis

The optical experimental setup depicted in Figure 9.3 was used to produce two-dimensional digital flame chemiluminescence imaging and natural flame emission spectroscopy observations from UV to visible. Light emitted during combustion travelled through the sapphire window, was reflected toward the optical detecting assembly via a 45° slanted UV–visible mirror positioned in the engine\'s bottom, and was then recorded by the acquisition system.

A few early studies [82] suggested that MIPs may be used as synthetic receptors that could be used with high-throughput technologies. As a screening tool, a MIP-based test using chemiluminescence imaging is offered [176]. The target is mixed with a tiny amount of analyte-enzyme in MIP microspheres and incubated until equilibrium is reached.
