Express Entry is used to manage Canada's federal economic class immigration system, specifically for filing PR applications. Similar procedure is used by many provinces to grant PR visa to applicants.

Candidates must submit a profile to Express Entry in order to receive an invitation to apply to one of the aforementioned immigration programmes.  After then, applicants have 60 days to submit a complete application. Candidates receive points under Express Entry based on fundamental characteristics like age, education, work experience, and language proficiency.

Federal Economic Class

Canada is the country that takes the most immigrants in this economic group, and over the next three years, annual levels are expected to rise over 200,000. The Federal High Skilled category makes up the bulk of the economic class. When apply for Canadian permanent residence from India, there are a variety of immigration routes to take into account.

What is the eligibility for Canada?

Under the Express Entry Program, skilled workers may apply for a PR visa. The Canadian government started this in 2015 to entice qualified professionals to visit and stay there. You must score 67 out of 100 in order to be eligible for this programme. The eligibility factors are as follows:

1. Age: Persons between the ages of 18 and 35 receive the most points. Those over 35 receive fewer points, and the eligibility age cap is 45.
2. Education: To qualify for this category, you must have a degree equivalent to a Canadian higher secondary school diploma.
3. Job experience: You must have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience to qualify for the minimum points. More points are awarded for more years of job experience. Your line of work must be classified under the National Occupational Classification as Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B. (NOC).
4. Language proficiency: Your IELTS score must have at least 6 bands and be less than two years old. If you are fluent in French, you receive bonus points.
5. Adaptability: You receive an additional 10 points if your spouse or common-law partner is willing to immigrate to Canada with you.
6.  Arranged employment: If you have a legitimate offer from a Canadian employer, you can earn up to 10 points.

What is the process to apply for Canada PR Application?

Here is how it works:

Step 1: Step Assessment of educational credentials

To demonstrate that their overseas education is on par with the level in Canada, a candidate must obtain an Educational Credential Assessment, or ECA.

Step 2: Language Proficiency

Along with the IELTS score, the candidate needs a report on their language skills. This shows if the applicant's English proficiency meets the Canadian Government Benchmark Level (CLB) 7 or not.

Step 3: Apply for Express Entry

The candidate can create an online profile in the Express Entry System after they have both of the required documents.

Step 4: CRS score

After completing the application form, the candidate is given a score that is used as a cut-off to evaluate applications. You can apply for a Canada PR visa if you receive the necessary CRS score.

Step 5: Express Entry Draw

The applicant then has to wait until the Express Entry Pool lottery, which happens on a regular basis. Candidates who are ranked higher than a particular threshold are invited for PR.

Step 6: Request for Applications (ITA)

An invitation to apply will be sent to you if your rating is higher (ITA). You have 60 days from the time you receive it to apply for PR.

Step 7: Final PR Application

You can submit the completed PR application together with the necessary paperwork. Most of these applications will be processed within six months, according to the authorities. You will receive your PR authorization once you are accepted.
