How to do the quality inspection in the printing process? Quality inspection is an important process to check and confirm whether the products produced by the enterprise meet the quality standards and customer requirements. It can be said that conscientiously controlling product quality is not only the need of market competition, but also the requirement of enterprise survival and development. 1. Pay attention to the source of quality and ensure the quality of enterprise products from the overall quality management of the enterprise. For bulk book printing, the original is an important factor in determining the quality of the printed matter, so a series of inspections must be carried out on the original before printing.

(1). Check whether the original is complete. Mainly check whether the original is dirty, whether the pictures, texts and lines are complete, and whether there are missing or broken strokes; whether the dots are transparent and smooth, whether there is roughness, deformation, or incompleteness; whether the mesh angle is accurate and uniform; whether the dot level meets the design requirements;

(2). Check the imposition. It should be checked whether the size, gauge line, color code, folding label, coding, etc. on the layout meet the requirements of printing and binding processes.

(3). Check whether the picture in the original has a color cast.

(4). Check whether the main colors of the original are accurate. Usually the color of the photo reflection is more vivid than the actual scene color. For reflection drafts with people as the main body, it is appropriate to use ruddy facial skin.

(5) . Check the quality of the book printing, and see whether the graphics, dots, and lines of the layout are uniform, smooth, without flowers, paste, and easy to ink; whether the layout is flat and clean, without dirt, spots, traces, and bumps.

2.  the quality inspection of printed matter

(1). Use the reticle to check the overprinting.

(2). Use the color code and signal bar to check the color of each color ink and the printing defective products. The color block of the printed matter can compare whether the ink color is consistent with the printed sample. Because of the lithographic products with dot fineness, the size of the dots within the image and text range is very different, and it is difficult to directly compare the colors. The color block can also be used as an inspection basis for missing color, white pages, and reversed pages. As long as the color block is complete and the position is accurate, the defective products can be quickly checked.

(3). Check whether the product is dirty. When sampling, just look at the two corners of the bite of the printed sheet or the ink color in the relative area where the ink consumption is high, you can find the printing quality problem, because these parts are the most likely to get dirty.

(4). All the characters and the first printed product should be checked for missing characters or broken strokes on one side.

(5).Check the dot clarity of the printed sheet layout. It is impossible to observe the change of dots with the naked eye. Use a magnifying glass to observe the saturation of the dots on the printed matter. If the dots are full, firm and clear, it means that the reductivity is good. On the contrary, if the dots of the printed matter are gray, fluffy and have white dots, it means that it’s not high quality book printing.
