Thoughts on Disruptive Technologies

Posted by Humane Design on July 17th, 2022

We all know that humanity and technology are inextricably linked. Technology is not only a natural extension of our desire to achieve our goals, but to do it in a way that leads to positive results.

Examples of Disruptive Technology in Business The development of technology has always influenced the way we work, think and interact with each other. This disrupts and augments traditional models of almost all human practices in the process, and this trend continues at a rapid pace today.

We are in the midst of one of the biggest technological changes in history.

Therefore, it is paramount that business leaders place them - and their teams - in a place where they can take advantage of the opportunities presented by today's digital realities. This includes disruptive innovation examples that drive intelligent automation to make products more accessible and affordable.

But they also have to anticipate the possibilities that tomorrow will bring.

Why Disruptive Design?

The world is full of complex problems and solving them requires more than a superficial approach. Too often we try to solve a problem with the same mindset that created the problem in the first place. As Einstein said, this is a really ineffective way to avoid solving the problem. The disruptive design method can help any practitioner develop a set of creative thinking and actionable tools to tackle complex problems in the world around them.

These tools help to overcome minimalist linear thinking and develop a strong three-dimensional approach to understanding problems and contributing creatively to their solutions. It is based on the idea that design and creativity are powerful to drive positive change and that all of us as creative thinkers (designers and non-designers) can activate our agency, skills, and tools to help the world around us.
