Hear out the new Myntraites’ experiences of joining back to office

With the fear of the Covid-19 pandemic slowly subsiding, Myntra is welcoming its new employees back to its swanky Bengaluru office. The overall aesthetics and architectural design of the e-commerce giant's workplace have grabbed the eyeballs of the new Myntraites. The new Myntra office space represents the company's ongoing efforts to remain at the forefront in lifestyle and fashion innovation. The company believes in creating a learning environment that encourages and supports opportunities and allows for abundant and continuous learning.

The new Myntraites were greeted with a green vertical garden on which the Myntra logo is engraved and inspiring quotes written on the walls. Vibrant colours used for interior design, open spaces for work, a gaming zone and snack bars on each floor are the standouts that make the office even livelier. The employees described the office as a modern fashion exhibit. Sounds cool, right!

We interacted with the new Myntra employees, who were excited to get back to office and the experience of working in a creative and vibrant workspace. Aishwarya Gupta, Associate Buyer – Category, Accessory – Women's, says that Myntra is the best platform to learn about the latest trends and brands. She follows various social media influencers who have tagged brands from Myntra to style their looks. She reveals that it was her dream to work in Myntra and finally succeeded in her third attempt.

Aishwarya adds that one of the inspirational quotes written on office walls which read - "Your life is a message to the world, make it bold", motivates her to think out of the box and explore new possibilities. She states that Myntra connects fashion with our cultural legacy in a truly beautiful way. She mentions that there is a vast and woven canvas held by a hand-made textile, symbolising the deep-rooted connection with Indian heritage and culture.

Vinay Balraj – Manager, Non-Trade Commercials – Procurement says that he has been a loyal Myntra customer for quite some time before joining. He states it was a dream come true for him when he got the offer to join Myntra. He says the company has continuously improved about innovation and overall shopping tastes. Sharing his experience of joining the new office, Vinay says it was a pleasure to be treated with welcome goodies and a handcrafted coffee to make his first day memorable.

Shreya Arora, Senior Software Engineer – User Platform, says that she was thrilled to receive an offer to work at Myntra. The most exciting things she witnessed were fashion and tech fun facts scribbled over the walls and fashion-related terms used to name the meeting rooms. She observed the reception walls, which illustrated Myntra's journey and its evolution over the last couple of years.

Hardik Taneja, Senior User Experience Researcher, User Experience Design, says that he is glad to be working in a forward-looking and human-centred organisation. The workstation on the second office and the gaming arcade on the other side were the cherries on the cake for him. He states that the Myntra team was warm and welcoming and everyone was smiling.
