Business and corporate events have become very routine and if you are looking to make an event truly special, you should look to host it at a completely off beat place. An Illinois distillerywould be a very good place for business events that not many people may have thought of. You can close the deals over some bourbon whiskeyand excellent food. Here are some good ideas about finding a good place to host your next corporate event.

Bourbon Whiskey

The ideal place should have a good tasting bar, complete with lounge seating, bar seats, high chairs, the whole lot. A good ambience can be where you have a long 20-22 ft bar which is overlooking the production area. This will be a good place to start the event, including welcoming the guests and for meet and greet sessions. You can have multiple guests in seating or standing arrangements, and quick options for providing good refreshments and drinks like bourbon whiskey upon arrival as the guests make themselves comfortable with the surroundings. The actual event can take place at the private dining area, so, the same is also obviously good to have. Ideally, this should be in a conference room like set-up. There should be flexible sitting arrangement along with good views of surrounding areas. Arrangements of large format displays or projectors should be made on demand, though permanent setup for the same equipment is always a preferred choice, along with readily available staff.

Illinois Distillery

Not many people realize this, but the production floor of a distillery can be a very good area for socializing. The slow hum of machines and people doing their tasks can create a very calming backdrop for small and large groups to converse and relax, as well as to collaborate on tasks. It is also a good place to walk around and think of new ideas. An Illinois distillery with 28 foot copper tills is a sight to behold and get inspired. For the larger events, where seating space for more than 300 people may be needed, a good choice is the rick house. Filled with barrels upon barrels and rows of shelves of aging bourbon, the idyllic place is great for formal and informal dinners, company-wide retreats, and much more. The traditional places for hosting corporate events like hotel banquets fail to stand apart for special occasions, but this distillery event hosting is sure to leave a great impression on your guests.
