How to Make Choco Berry Cake

Dark chocolate butter cream is spread over a fudgy cake filled with mixed berry jam. Final changes include a dark-chocolate drizzle and fresh berries. Check out the choco berry cake recipe.

Ingredients

  • One cup of all-purpose flour is needed for the chocolate cake.
  • 3/4 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • At least 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 12 cups of milk
  • Half a cup of hot water
  • At least one tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
  • Fruit Salad - 2 cups of mixed fresh berries

Why This Chocolate Berry Cake Is So Delicious

Everything about it is perfect, from the flavor to the texture. It's juicy, and each mouthful is both chewy and fluffy. It's a one-of-a-kind texture!

When it comes to the icing, it's the greatest dark chocolate butter cream I've ever had! It is made with chocolate chips and melted dark chocolate for the deepest chocolate flavour.

Instructions

Set the temperature of your ovens to 170 degrees Centigrade. Combine the flour, sugars, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a large bowl. Add the oil, milk, and yogurt to the batter and beat it for three minutes on high speed with an electric mixer.

Bake the batter in a greased and parchment-lined pan. Baking time should be between 30 and 35 minutes, depending on how done you want your cakes.

When baking the cake, please remove it from the oven, cover it with aluminium foil, and let it cool before slicing it.

Meanwhile, bring heavy cream & unsalted butter to a slow boil for the chocolate ganache. The cream should be removed from the heat as soon as bubbles begin forming around the edges. Pour the cream over the chopped chocolate.

Using gentle strokes, fold the cream solution into the Ganache after a minute, being careful not to acidify the Ganache. After the cake has been allowed to cool, make a liberal layer of Chocolate Ganache and decorate with fresh berries. Sprinkles, crushed almonds, marshmallows, or anything else you choose would be great additions.

Systematic Assembly Of The Cake

  • Put the first layer of cake on top of it. Afterward, spread a thin layer of frosting over the cake and smooth it out with an offset spatula while rotating the cake stand. Then, snip the tip of a piping bag, so it has a half-inch hole. Just around the outside of the cake layer, add a "border" of frosting using a piping bag.
  • Keep the border with frosting at least half an inch thick and one inch high. On top of the cake layer, spread roughly 14-1/3 cup of cranberry jam. Repeat the process with the next cake layer.
  • To finish the cake, add the last layer on top and decorate the outside and top with a few dollops of frosting. Use an offset spatula to spread the frosting as evenly as possible. With the cake scraper, please go over the whole cake with it, making it as simple as possible for yourself with the help of the cake turntable. A thin coating of icing is ideal. For 30 minutes, put your cake in the refrigerator to chill.
