Terabytes of Illegally Sold OnlyFans Content

Terabytes of mostly adult entertainment and fitness-related content are currently being sold illegally on a hacker forum following what appeared to be a leak of OnlyFans content, which the company denied. As a result, content producers are left without income.

The Predicted Leak.

According to reports that surfaced in late February, material from the adult entertainment website Only Fans, based in London, had been online leaked. Influencers, models, and even public figures have a platform to share content on OnlyFans thanks to a premium pay model.

According to the reports, up to 4 terabytes of OnlyFans content were exposed online. onlyfans leak  Photos and videos from primarily female content producers were included in the content.

OnlyFans Refuted Being a Cyberattack Victim.

OnlyFans released a statement shortly after the reports surfaced denying that they had been the target of a cyberattack. The business claimed that after looking into the reports, it had not been able to discover any proof of a system breach. The leaked files appeared to "be curated from multiple sources, including other social media applications," according to Steve Pym, head of marketing at OnlyFans.

It now appears likely that the leak was caused by OnlyFans users purchasing individual content items and then sharing them with others, rather than a hack. This was done by gathering the information into a sizable file that was freely distributed.

These results support OnlyFans' claim that its security had not been compromised. However, the incident shows that the distribution strategy used by OnlyFans has significant security flaws. Content creators lose out on money because it is possible to steal it from the site and share it illegally elsewhere. Most platforms for photos and videos have these problems. But many people take security measures, like preventing screenshots and recordings.

Selling OnlyFans content illegally

On a hacker forum, the OnlyFans content is currently being sold on demand. Depending on how well-liked the model is, the vendor charges different prices for the content. For just to per content item, buyers can purchase the content using Bitcoin or PayPal. The purchasers receive the content through Google Drive 12 hours after the payment is processed.

An OnlyFans representative responded to The Verge's inquiry regarding the incident by saying, "OnlyFans takes content piracy very seriously and has a designated DMCA team that issues formal takedown notices against all reported copyright violations. All of our creators are given access to this service for free.
