The situation is being monitored by the Tehran crisis management committee, which is led by the Tehran Mayor.The provinces of Yazd, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, Bushehr, and Hormozgan were under the highest level of warning on July 27, according to the Iranian Meteorological Organization. According to reports, 21 of the nation's provinces may experience flooding and heavy rain up until Monday, August 1, 2022. The intense rains have already caused numerous roads in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan and Kerman to flood. Prior to the landslide, flood warnings and heavy rain advisories had been issued to residents of Tehran's mountainous regions, stating that more precipitation was anticipated later in the day.
