Asia Cup 2022 Players list and countries to participate

The fifteenth edition of the Asia Cup begins on August 27 with a battle between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in Dubai. Earlier, Sri Lanka was chosen to host this event but later moved to the UAE due to the economic and political unrest in Sri Lanka. Sharjah and Dubai will host the tournament from August 27 to September 11. Six Asian teams divided into two groups will fight over two weeks to clinch the coveted title. While India, Pakistan and Hong Kong are looped in Group A, Group B has Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The defending champion India enters the campaign as tournament favourites, but anything may happen at any time in this glorious game of uncertainty.
