Everything we know about BTS world tour 2022

BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, was formed in 2012 and made their official debut in 2013 under label Big Hit Entertainment. Since debuting, BTS have broken records left and right with their diverse discography, – that comprises both head-banging and melodious songs – top-notch performances, and their unequivocal love for their fandom, ARMY, and one another.

BTS has kept its fan base on the edge of their seats as they await the announcement of their highly anticipated world tour 2022. At this point, we are more than halfway into the year, and there seem to be no indication or even a world tour 2022 country list from their label, Hybe. Hence, it would be safe to assume that the seven-member boy group will not be hitting the road this year.

There is, however, an exciting gig scheduled for later this year for BTS and its fandom, ARMY. The Bangtan Boys were named the Honorary Ambassadors of the 2030 Busan Expo, and to celebrate that, Hybe has announced a concert in Busan that is slated for this October. On top of that, the one-day concert is going to be absolutely free of cost for the 100,000 fans who will attend it. Not much detail has been revealed about the show’s tracklist. However, it is confirmed that the boy group will perform Yet To Come and other new songs from BTS new album 2022

The septate performed their last big show during 4-day Permission To Dance in Las Vegas in April of this year. In the show, they performed BTS new songs as well as their old gems and wrapped it up with an emotional montage. Since then, BTS has dropped several bombshells upon ARMY. From announcing their indefinite hiatus to dropping new songs and new albums, BTS gave the ARMY the most epic rollercoaster ride this year.

To recap on the band’s shenanigans a bit, after the end of their Las Vegas gig, Big Hit announced the arrival of another studio album by BTS slated for release in June. BTS released their first new album of 2022, titled Proof on June 10. The nostalgic album served as BTS’ first anthology album that comprised of tracks spanning the past nine years of the band’s discography. After the inevitable success of BTS new album, the boy band’s nine-year anniversary arrived shortly.

BTS have had a tradition to hold a celebratory VLIVE called FESTA on the day of the band’s anniversary i.e., June 13. There main aim is to interact with their fans over live stream and reminisce the journey that brought them there. At first, it seemed like a conventional live stream to the ARMY who participated. Only that it was not. During their live, BTS made an excruciating announcement that after nine years of relentless hard work, the group was going on a break.

They did not reveal how long the hiatus is going to be. However, they did clear up a few things for the ARMYs who voiced their fear of disbandment. They clarified that the hiatus is initially to focus on their solo projects, meaning that no BTS new albums or songs will be released for some time. They promised that they will continue to be in touch with each other and their beloved ARMYs. BTS did live up to their promise as they recently started premiering new episodes of their variety show, RUN BTS, from this month.
