Admission to the BMS School of Architecture

Every year, the BMS School of Architecture Admission office receives a large number of applications from all throughout the nation. The admission process adheres fully to the established admission criteria and regulations. The College offers a range of courses for the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Urban Design, and Ph.D. programs. In addition to this normal course, the college also offers a variety of short-term training programs and workshops. Students who want to join BMSSA should adhere to the qualifications established for that purpose.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch. Program:

  • In order to apply for this course, students must have successfully completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in their first attempt from any recognized board or council in India with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates from Karnataka classified by the organization) with Mathematics as a compulsory optional subject.

  • Candidates for this course must have completed a three-year diploma program in architecture or a related field that has been approved by the governments of Karnataka, the United States, or any state.

  • Students who have completed any diploma that the relevant authority deems to be equivalent are eligible to apply for this course.

  • Applicants for this course must have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (after completing 10 years of formal education).

BMS School of Architecture B.Arch. Cutoff:

Students preparing to take the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) must get a minimum score of 40%. (including reserved categories). The admission office informs the concerned students of the BMS School of Architecture Fees following the shortlisting of applicants.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Arch Programme:

  • To be eligible for the M. Arch program at BMSSSA, students must pass the B. Arch or equivalent examination from any accredited university in all of the course years.

  • If they have taken and passed the Common Admission Test, students who have earned an AIIA qualification may enroll in this course.

  • To apply for this course, students with international comparable degrees must get an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
