Players from India and Pakistan excel in the most recent Men's T20I rankings update

The top players for India and Pakistan have seen significant improvements in the most recent MRF Tyres ICC Men's Player Rankings for T20 Internationals update.

After his outstanding performances in the ongoing seven-match series against England, veteran batsman Mohammad Rizwan has maintained his top rank in the batting standings.

In the second, third, and fourth T20Is against England, Rizwan scored 88*, 8, and 88 runs, respectively, to help him hold onto first place. With the series tied at 2-2 going into Wednesday's fifth game, his contributions helped Pakistan win the second and fourth T20Is.

Suryakumar Yadav of India has moved up to No. 2 as a result of his brilliant 69 off 36 deliveries in the third Twenty20 International against Australia in Hyderabad. His performance enabled India to defeat its 187-goal and win the series 2-1.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, scored the second T20I century of his career against England in the second T20I, vaulting him to third place in the batting rankings.

Aaron Finch, the captain of Australia, climbs one spot to No. 5 following his 31-run innings in Nagpur's second Twenty20 international match against India.

One of the top gainers in the batting rankings is England's rising star Harry Brook, who rose a staggering 118 spots to No. 29. With scores of 31, 81*, and 34 in the last three T20Is against Pakistan in Karachi, Brook has won over fans large and small with his aggressive batting.

Following his passionate efforts in the T20I series against England, pacer Haris Rauf has created quite an impression on the bowling charts. Rauf has moved up seven positions to No.14 thanks to performances of 2/30, 0/39, and 3/32 in the last three games.

Axar Patel finished with the most wickets in the series against Australia, and his performances of 2/13 and 3/33 in the last two games have helped him move up to No. 18 in the rankings.

After underwhelming performances in the series between India and Australia, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar (down to No. 10) and spinner Adam Zampa (down to No. 6) have both dropped one spot each.

Mohammad Nabi, the captain of Afghanistan, has supplanted Shakib Al Hasan as the top all-rounder in the rankings. After his outstanding performances in the series against Australia, Hardik Pandya has also climbed into the top four. In the last two T20Is against Australia, Pandya recorded scores of nine and 25* while also contributing with a few useful overs. Wanindu Hasaranga, another all-around player from Sri Lanka, and he are now tied for fourth place.

As nations ramp up their preparations for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, which begins in October, there will be a tonne of T20 International matches coming up. As a result, players will be vying for spots in the rankings charts.
