CSM matting -Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat– Overlap the matting 50mm to 75mm , and then lay the feathered edge of the matting on top of your last run if potential, this may help the design of visible edges on the joints while the roof is completed. feather edges is only for aesthetics and can not alter the strength.

Pulling at fiberglass mat

Feathering a CSM(Chopped Strand Mat) edge – If you haven’t got a feathered edge however you would like one, simply pull firmly at the edge of the matting and it'll break away in your hand, or rip the matting rigorously on a cut line.

ALIGNING THE MATTING AND laying THE LAMINATE

Have all of your matting pre cut and prepared to travel, roll out a run of fiberglass mat and certify it’s sq. and aligned how you would like it. after you recognize its all OK, roll it back up once more and store it on the roof or floor therefore its simply accessible later.

Setting out the mat. coming up with your escape – continuously think about where you'll exit the roof, you don’t wish to laminate yourself into a dead finish.
