Battlefield is not just a place where two military forces fight to protect their territory or occupy the territory of the enemy; it is a place where soldiers have to face gruesome scenarios of bloodshed and massacre. IFAK is an essential requirement of battlefields and every soldier must carry one for an emergency situation. They can use it to help other wounded soldiers or to apply a bandage and medicinal formulation on injuries that they get during the battle. There are many times when the soldiers have to apply medicine and bandage on their own because there is no one to help and an individual first aid kit is of great use in such situations.
