LAYING THE GRP LAMINATE WITH CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT)

With the preparation complete, we are currently able to laminate the CSM(FIBERGLASS CHOPPED STRAND MAT) to the roof decking.

Laminate CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT) this is often part four of five, and shows the technique for laminating CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT) to the roof deck on alittle demo roof. this will then be simply up scaled for larger projects.

On a bigger roof, roll out and align your pre-cut matting, once the fiberglass chopped strand mat is in the correct position roll it back up without moving it, in order that once you roll it back out into the resin it’s in exactly the proper place. Pictured below.

Laminate CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT) – Dunk the roller into your resin bucket and wet out simply over a square meter of roof deck, currently roll the CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT) into the resin. Wet more roof deck and continue rolling out. Apply more resin on high of the CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT) you unrolled, and wet out the CSM(CHOPPED STRAND MAT). Then repeat.
