What is a thread gauge calibration? 

It's a process that allows you to tell your drill bits from one another. Without it, you wouldn't be able to compare different types of drill bits or use them effectively. It also enables you to see what kind of shape your drill bit is in; if it's dull, for example, then you can replace it with another one that will work better. 

How does it work? 

Thread gauges are used in many industries and manufacturing processes. They're made primarily out of steel but sometimes other materials like brass or aluminum may be used as well. Most thread gauges have an internal threading system that holds their pins tightly in place so they don't get lost when they're being used on tools or hardware parts. This helps prevent parts from wearing down prematurely or breaking during use because there isn't any space between each pin and its corresponding hole on the part itself (which would otherwise allow them to wobble around loose). 

There's a lot to say about Thread Gage Calibration, but it's really as simple as this: if you're not calibrating your thread gage, there's a good chance your work will suffer.

First of all, when you don't calibrate your gage properly, the readout on the scale might not be accurate. It also means that when you try to use one side of the gage on multiple threads, you'll have trouble getting an accurate reading because the readings will vary from thread to thread and from one gage size to another.

Well, in short: calibration! Calibration ensures that everything reads correctly and gives consistent readings every time you use it. It also ensures that you're using the right amount of pressure when reading threads so that they're as accurate as possible.
