This doesn't make the situation any better

No matter what the fact that Ultimate Team's bread and cake of  FUT 23 Coins purchasing and selling the snarky little guys is difficult to recommend. Even if I still have some fun every year without having to pay, the problem is the brutal nature that you're able to quickly fall into debt by going all Gollum by buying one more precious player pack.

Beyond consolidating the transfer markets the transfer market, there haven't been major changes made to EA's morally unsound approach to microtransactions. But I did notice that ratings are now rising during the show's glitzy unveiling that makes it appear more like a single-handed bandit...

Despite continuous pressure from regulators, pay-to win microtransactions areunfortunately a problem within FIFA 23. Loot boxes can be found in the shape of player-filled pack of cards within FIFA's well-known Ultimate Team mode. It is possible to purchase FIFA Points through bundles, beginning around PS0.79 per 100 FIFA Points and going up to a staggering PS79.99 with 12,000 FIFA Points. The Premium Gold Pack costs 150 FIFA Points. It includes 12 gold-rated players as well as consumables, which can be used during gameplay or sold on the transfer market.

For the company's policy, EA told Eurogamer that FUT Lootboxes "are an aspect in FIFA that players enjoy," and that "giving players the option to spend if they want to are fair." The company has no plans to alter its approach with regard to "surprise mechanics" until laws are passed that force it to.

This doesn't make the situation any better It's worth noting that as a result laws, you can now set weekly limits on FIFA points spent and pack that are opened within Ultimate Team, and see the probability of receiving the highest-rated player buy FUT 23 Coins prior to opening an actual pack. FIFA 23 also offers limited-time Preview Packs that you can see what's inside the pack prior to when you choose to buy it. However, it currently is only available for a single pack of cards that is refreshed once each day.
