Forgot Windows 8 Password, how to reset Windows 8 Password

This is a story that comes from an user:

“My sister changed my password on my pc! She typed it in for me but there is no way to make her tell me the password. So does anybody here know a good free Windows password recovery tool or a way to change the password with command prompt? “

Well, if Windows 8 is working properly, resetting it is not the solution. Assuming you are an administrator on the computer, go to user accounts and create another Administrator account for yourself. Then login to the newly created account and delete all old accounts and tell windows to delete the files when asked. Viola! You are done. Its your microsoft account one right? So just use your phone or someone else's computer (library?) to go to hotmail and click forgot password and have it text you a reset code or send a reset link to your alternate email address.  If it is a user account, log in as administrator and change you own user password.

 When you forgot Windows 8 login password , and don't konw how to reset your Windows 8 password, there are four solution for you choice to help you reset your forgotten Windows 8 password.

Solution 1:

 For resetting the administrator password on windows 8. you need to g o to hotmail account and then you need to type there and then you can recover your password from there .

Control panel--->User accounts--->make changes to my account in PC settings--->change my password

Solution 2:

Use your password reset disk to recover the Windows password Vista and Windows 7 allow you to create a password reset disk, which enables you to reset your password without much hassle. The problem with this option is that you have to create the reset disk before the password is lost. 

Solution3: Reset Windows 8 Password with iSeePassword Windows Password Recovery
