Spiral pipe testing standards and testing content

Spiral pipe is also called spiral steel pipe or spiral welded pipe. It is made by rolling the low-carbon structural steel or low-alloy structural steel strip into a tube blank according to a certain helical angle (called the forming angle), and then welding the tube seams. It can produce large-diameter welded steel tubes from narrower strips.

Detection range of spiral tube

Spiral steel pipes for sewage treatment, spiral steel pipes for water purification, PVC spiral pipes, spiral steel pipes for water plants, spiral steel pipes for power plant chemical enterprises, spiral steel pipes for nuclear power, solid wall spiral pipes, steel spiral pipes,Spiral steel pipes for conveying flammable fluids, spiral steel pipes for conveying non-combustible fluids, PVC spiral pipes, single-wall spiral pipes, spiral submerged arc welded steel pipes (SSAW), etc.

Inspection items of spiral pipe

Material inspection, quality inspection, flaw detection, size inspection, appearance inspection, thickness inspection, pressure resistance inspection, aging inspection, weather resistance inspection, durability inspection, hydrostatic pressure resistance inspection, vacuum resistance performance inspection, bending resistance inspection,Judging performance testing, interlayer bonding strength testing, acid and alkali resistance testing, physical and chemical properties testing, etc.

According to the quality inspection results of spiral steel pipes, spiral steel pipes are usually divided into three categories: qualified products, repaired products and waste products. Qualified products refer to spiral steel pipes whose appearance quality and internal quality meet the relevant standards or technical conditions for delivery acceptance. The reworked product refers to the spiral steel pipe whose appearance quality and internal quality do not fully meet the standards and acceptance conditions, but it is allowed to be reworked, and can meet the standards and acceptance conditions after rework. Waste products refer to spiral steel pipes that are unqualified in appearance quality and internal quality, and are not allowed to be repaired or fail to meet the standards and acceptance conditions after repairing.

Waste products are divided into two types: internal waste and external waste. Internal waste refers to the waste spiral steel pipe found in the foundry or foundry. External waste refers to the waste products found after the delivery of spiral steel pipes, which are usually revealed during machining, heat treatment or use, and the economic losses caused by them are far greater than those of internal waste. In order to reduce external waste, it is best to sample the spiral steel pipes produced in batches for experimental heat treatment and rough processing before leaving the factory, and to find potential spiral steel pipe defects in the spiral steel pipe factory as much as possible, so as to take necessary remedial measures as early as possible.
