Cleaning of seamless pipes

Seamless pipe refers to a steel pipe that is perforated from a whole round steel and has no welds on the surface. Mainly used as petroleum geological drilling pipes, petrochemical cracking pipes, boiler pipes, bearing pipes and high-precision structural steel pipes for automobiles, tractors and aviation. Pickling steps are used in the processing of seamless pipes, and water cleaning is usually required after pickling.

What should be paid attention to when cleaning seamless pipes?

1) When cleaning the seamless pipe, it needs to be carried out in a flowing clear water tank to avoid secondary pollution. When cleaning, the seamless pipe needs to be completely submerged in water. Up and down three or four times is enough;

2) When the seamless pipe is washed with water, the water in the steel pipe needs to be cleaned to prevent the steel pipe from being corroded and oxidized by water, so it is very necessary to perform solvent treatment as soon as possible;

3) When washing the seamless pipe with water, be careful not to cross the pickling tank to avoid accidents, slipping or falling into the acid tank, and being corroded by residual hydrochloric acid;

4) When the seamless pipe is washed with water, the iron salt content standard must be controlled within a certain range and cannot exceed the standard, otherwise the seamless pipe may be damaged.

The pickling of the seamless pipe is to remove the surface oxide scale, and then undergo lubricating treatment (carbon steel-phosphorus saponification, stainless steel-tallow ash, copper-aluminum pipe-oiling, using the old process-copper plating), and then pull out for deep processing. If the seamless pipe is not pickled, there may be oxides and oil stains on the surface, and the phosphating solution may not be able to remove it, and the phosphating quality will decline. Moreover, in the manufacturing process of the seamless pipe, after several processes, a little carelessness will leave scars on the surface of the seamless pipe, reduce the corrosion resistance of the parts, and directly affect the service life; a layer will be formed on the surface of the seamed pipe The protective film improves the corrosion resistance of the seamless pipe.
