1. Humidity and Temperature Sensor- Just like human beings and animals, plants are sensitive to alterations in humidity and temperature. Certain crops grow best in winter while others are summer crops. So, humidity and temperature sensors tell farmers about the best time to cultivate a particular crop.
2. Light Sensor- Plants require good sunlight to perform photosynthesis. Excessive light or less light can stunt their growth and even kill them. Light sensors measure the exact amount of light a plot receives.
3. Air Quality Sensor- Crops need fresh air to thrive and polluted air makes them sick. Polluted air also makes plants less immune to bugs and diseases. An air quality sensor aptly judges the quality of the air.
4. Barometer Pressure Sensor- This type of sensor measures the atmospheric pressure it studies how the behavior of plants changes with changes in the atmospheric pressure.
5. Soil Moisture Sensor- The amount of water needed to survive varies from plant to plant. Inefficient water management can ruin the entire plantation and therefore, soil moisture sensors are necessary.
