Contractual alimony is an agreement included in a divorce decree that is made by both parties independently.

• Wills – Many family law firms also offer this service as a matter of course. Drafting wills, powers of attorney and physician directives, among other documents, is a common practice as is the willingness to review these documents on clients’ behalf.
