Astm A335 P11 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes

Posted by Deepak Seth on January 5th, 2023

A335 P11 Pipe Alloy Seamless Pipe used for high-temperature services, with a chrome content of 1.00% to 1.50%, and a moly content of 0.44% to 0.65%. Minimum tensile strength is 415MPa, and minimum yield strength is 205MPa.

The material is composed of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum. As a result of its composition, ASME SA335 Grade P11 Crome Pipe exhibits toughness, strength, hardness, wear resistance, hardenability, hot hardness, and corrosion resistance. ASTM A335 P11 Alloy Steel Pipes can also be heat treated. Spacecraft, jet engine turbine blades, and nuclear reactors use these.

In applications such as transformers and electric motors, the ferromagnetic characteristics of P11 Alloy Steel Welded Pipe Composition are important. As a result of the chromium content, AS P11 Grade Material is more oxidation resistant and can be used under high oxidizing conditions and high temperatures. As a result of the addition of molybdenum to the pipes, the pipes have elasticity, wear resistance, and strength.
