Gallium Nitride Power Device Market Partnership Agreements of Key Players 2022-2028

The Gallium Nitride Semiconductor Devices is expected to reach USD 1.88 billion in 2021 and grow at a CAGR of 24.4% from 2022 to 2030. The growth of the can be attributed to the advantages that GaN semiconductor devices offer over silicon devices. Silicon materials have been used to create a variety of electronic items, including cellphones, computers, cameras, and televisions. Now that silicon's potential for innovation has decreased, GaN semiconductor devices, which are 100 times faster than silicon, have a chance. Compared to silicon-based counterparts, gaN devices are more energy-efficient, cheaper, and have faster device speeds.

The growing for electric vehicles is anticipated to fuel demand for gallium nitride semiconductor devices. GaN's capacity to assist automakers in reducing charging times, raising cost effectiveness, boosting power density, and extending the range of their vehicles is the reason for this. As a result, many companies are developing GaN systems for electric vehicles (EV). For instance, the collaboration between GaN Systems, a provider of GaN power semiconductors, and Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. (USI), a division of ASE Technologies, was announced in November 2021. The goal of the collaboration was to produce GaN power modules for electric vehicles.
