The rooms have two beds with extra blankets, soft mattresses, and pillows. It is recommended to go with a sleeping bag and pillowcase. The Trekkers get hot showers in the lodge which are heated water by electricity, gas, and fire. There are attached toilets in some rooms. Sharing toilets are indoors, so people do not need to go outside the building. The food during the Ghorepani Poon hill trek is good quality and hygienic. Basic trained cooks and family prepare the food served from a food menu. The food recipes are a mixture of local and western. Local people are controlling pollution by avoiding plastic so, trekkers may not buy bottled water during the trip. They sell safe drinking water which can refill in travelers' bottles. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek PermitThe Ghorepani Poon hill trek permit, issued by Nature Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) is needed for visitors, to entry in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). Also, Trekker’s Information Management System (TIMS) card is required for the Ghorepani Poon hill trek. We arrange these permits things for our clients but, the individual trekkers need to take them from the NTNC office and Nepal tourism board office in Bhrikutimandap Kathmandu. Also, the Pokhara branch provides trekking permits. Annapurna conservation area entry permit costs 3000 NPR and 2000 for the TIMS card for the tourists, except for the people from the south Asian association for regional cooperation (SAARC) countries. India, Nepal, Maldives, Srilanka, Pakistan, Bhutan, and Bangladesh are in the SAARC. NPR 1000 for the ACAP permit and 600 for the TIMS. The above-mentioned costs are for free for individual trekkers who trek without a guide and porter.
