Posted by Heiwhite on February 12th, 2023

In the past few paragraphs, I have examined the history of sneakers, defined several types, and shown you a variety of ways that men and women can style their sneakers. Now, let's look at some of the most popular sneaker brands.

You can wear sneakers with a variety of outfits. Wear your favorite canvas sneakers for a hip-hop look or a pair of vintage German army trainers for a retro look.

You don't have to be uncomfortable when you need to dress up with the wide selection of fashion and designer Fake Sneakers Store available. You also have fabulous options when you want to relax on the couch.

ASICS

Founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka as the Onitsuka Co., Ltd., ASICS stands for "anima sana in corpore sano," or "sound mind in sound body."

Nike was founded by Phil Knight, who sold ASICS shoes. Take for example the GEL-PTG, which has extra grip outsoles and a perforated vamp to let more air in.

Wear the HyperGEL-YU because it has extra cushioning built into it if you're just hanging out. Alternatively, you can wear GEL-LYTE with a casual skirt and tee shirt.

The converse

With the introduction of the Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker in 1917, Marquis Mills Converse established the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts.

Until then, the company had been able to make shoes nine months out of the year, so these shoes changed the history of sneakers forever.

New Balance

New Balance Arch Support Company was founded in 1908 by an English immigrant named William J. Riley to make arch supports and orthopedic footwear. In 1938, Riley designed the company's first running shoe exclusively for the Boston Brown Bag Harriers running club.

The Kangaroo leather shoe had a crepe sole. Three years later, the company expanded its offering by offering specialized sneakers for tennis, boxing, and baseball. With the introduction of the Trackster in 1956, New Balance offered running shoes in different widths for the first time. You can find vegan shoes in their Made in the USA line, if you love products made in the United States.

The Pumas

Adolf "Adi" Dassler and his brother Rudolf Dassler founded Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany in 1924. The two brothers couldn't agree, so Rudolf founded Puma in 1948. More on Rudolf in a minute.

Rudolf initially called the company Ruda before changing it to Puma shortly thereafter. With the introduction of the suede sneaker Crack in 1968, Puma transformed sneakers from athletic shoes to lifestyle shoes. Crack means someone very skilled. You may want to add a pair to your collection because these shoes were trendy during the hip-hop movement.

Adidas

The company's headquarters are in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany, where Adolf "Adi" Dassler founded Adidas in 1948 after fighting his brother, who founded Puma. Due to the dispute, the town was divided along the river, and the two brothers were buried at opposite ends of the cemetery without revealing what the fight was about.

Dolce & Gabbana

In 1985, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana founded Dolce & Gabbana in Italy. The company's sneakers are usually made of leather. Guys will find the Daymaster sneakers made of supple calfskin leather ideal for casual wear.

Nike

After selling shoes out of their car trunks, Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight founded Blue Ribbon Sports in 1964. The company's name changed to Nike in 1978. Shoes were made in Beaverton, Oregon, where the company still has its headquarters today.

Balenciaga

Although the company was founded in Spain in 1919 by Cristobal Balenciaga, it has been based in Paris ever since. The company ceased operations in 1972 before reopening in 1986. Kering now owns the company. Under his leadership, Demna Gvasalia has created some great streetwear sneakers, including the Triple S, Track, and Speed Trainer.
