According to Springbok assistant head coach Mzwandile Stick and captain Siya Kolisi, who also stated that it will benefit each player independently once they come back to their establishments and the national squads.

In 2013, Mzwandile Stick was appointed the Under-21 Assistant Coach.  Between the years 2014 and 2015, he served as the Eastern Province Under-19 squad's head trainer as well as their Vodacom Cup team. Kolisi claimed the players had benefited greatly from the on- and off-field practises, whereas Stick spoke of the intense tournament at the international level with several teams poised to attend the Rugby World Cup as candidates, particularly after seeing the Six Nations develop over the past few weeks.

Heading towards a Rugby World Cup year, Stick stated, "We won't be asking for something better than with all the twists we are experiencing in worldwide rugby."

Don’t Repeat RWC 2019 slips

"We are developing as a squad," Kolisi continued, "and the trainers have set the bar and made it clear to all of us that we cannot carry on as we performed in the 2019 Rugby World Cup and anticipate taking the Rugby World Cup this year."

"We like to strengthen our professionalism, and we are concentrating on reducing our body position in the challenge and on our endurance, both of which are key features as the regulations of the sport are altering and the game's velocity is accelerating, and we need to be equipped for that," the team said.

Stick responded to rumours that the Springboks are looking for someone who will advise players and interact with game officials all through the global tournament in France by saying, "One must inquire about that."
