All about Church Sound System

It is commonly seen that when a preacher speaks in church it becomes very difficult to hear his voice. At times wrong speakers are the culprits where appropriate speakers for that size of room where not fixed or due to lack of funds the church authorities could not arrange for a proper speaker and  church audio microphones. It is often seen in a religious ceremony that people fail to hear what is being recited by the priest due to the echoes which occur. People often ask each other what is being told by the priest as it gets very unclear for them to listen sitting behind. Special moments as well as inspirational ones are missed out by the gatherings due to improper sound facilities. The sound we hear in our cars and our houses are so crisp and clear and loud when compared to the dim blurred sound we get to hear in our places of worship.

The main reason for such poor quality sound is poor quality speakers and improper architecture. Ceilings which are very high and also ample glass being used in the structure all lead to improper sound systems. People are under the impression that purchasing a good quality speaker will solve their purpose but most of the times it is not the case. Only good quality speakers will not help in obtaining proper sound. Most prayer auditoriums have special speakers and speaker set ups to help in getting a clear sound effect.

The purpose of speakers is not only to amplify sound but also to balance and tone it as well. Usually sound system installed in churches are meant only for speeches and not music. But why should the music go unheard when you have organised a social gathering in church and you have taken the effort to organise music as well.

It is time we now install good sound systems and speakers in our churches just like the ones we have in our houses and cars.

For small places of worship, center cluster speakers are perfect as they bring together the entire sound at the centre of the stage. The sound coming from the speakers bounce off the walls, ceilings and floor  thus enabling everyone in the hall to hear the audio clearly. It is noticed that in centre cluster speakers you get to hear all the louder closer sounds over the background sounds.

For larger areas left right speakers are more suitable. The speciality of left right speakers is that they make the background noise match up with the voices of chorus so that all kinds of sounds are heard equally and a single sound is not dominant over the other.

Left right speakers can be used for small places or worship as well as for large areas. You get to hear the sound from everywhere and there is an equality maintained in the tone and balances of the sounds.

Usually for places of worship the delay speaker systems are recommended as they allow the sound emitting from the speakers to reach your ear at the same time.

When you are selecting sound system for a church do not go in for anything cheap. You need to keep in mind the size and shape of the church and the construction materials used for building the church. Depending upon all these factors you need to choose a suitable sound system. It should be one which is appreciated by everybody. The speech given by the priest should be heard loud and clear till the last row of people sitting.

It is very important to choose the right kind of  church audio and speakers. The sound quality should be of the same type as we have for our houses and cars rather than what we generally see in all places of worship where the voice gets very blurred. Hence it would be wise to do a little research and invest a little more amount and buy a sound system which is of good quality and which suits the church.
