"There is no denying that the style of rugby performed there is unique; they like low hits. There's certainly a bit of an adjustment process when you first start arriving because all the Japanese men are much smaller, but I have adapted. Practising on your defence is surely a critical component to prevent acquiring just so many dead legs, something I attempt to do."

“Learning has been the big thing coming here, everything has been different. Even calling lineouts and things like that. As many gamers do not possess English speaking, you must devise methods and other elements that are simple enough for all to explain. You must adjust to almost everything, including that.
