Bee Cave Road is Ready to Expand

For West Lake Hills residents a grand piece of news is waiting, finally the Bee Cave Road is going to be expanded and the construction work has already begun. In fact, those who search Westlake homes are going to be delighted as well as the completion of this project is going to make transportation system better. The project was in the pipeline for a long period of time. The area residents were really looking forward to the beginning of this project and now they do have a reason to smile.

When house hunters begin their quest they always look for a place which is well connected, transportation is indeed an important criterion which cannot be overlooked. As the area population begins to grow, the authorities will have to start thinking about improving the transportation. A congested road during peak hours could not only cause inconvenience to the residents, but might also send a wrong signal to the prospective buyers. So the city council needs to be always alert, they need to review the situation and should undertake development projects to make the city more convenient for the residents.

The Texas Department of Transportation, here has finally come up with the perfect plan for the expansion project. A center turn lane is going to be added on Bee Cave, which means now there are going to be five lanes instead of four.  However, the project is going to take a long time to get completed, at present the estimated time is two years, by then the road will be ready for the city. The project is going to cost million, but it is definitely worth it.

The area residents have been demanding this expansion for a long time because of the inconvenience they have to face on a daily basis. There are many businesses here and most importantly the Eanes Elementary is also situated here, so one can easily imagine the traffic congestion the residents have to face every day. But there are complications too, as waterline, gas line as well as the phone line of the city run under the road. During the construction work the road is going to be closed but two lanes will remain open in both directions.

The council needs to keep a close watch on the project to make sure that it finishes on time.
