Advanced Photonic Light Treatment

Advanced Photonic Light Therapy (APLT) is a form of scientifically advanced acupuncture that uses light. In order to stimulate acupuncture points, light is used instead of needles. The 660 nm monochromatic light is not laser, but a safe and effective method for self-treatment that promotes healing and eliminates the need to suffer pain. Our skin, the largest organ in our body, has bioelectric sensing system and has three main functions: protective, thermoregulatory, and sensory. The skin or outer coverings of mammals, fish and reptiles also have bioelectric capabilities.

We can alter the electrical potential of our skin by touching it. When skin tissue gets compressed, it creates a well that is negatively charged on the bottom and positively charged on the top. It is because collagen, the subcutaneous connective tissues, has mechanisms that are both piezoelectric and pyroelectric.

Collagen is able to distinguish between positive and negative charges on the skin. This helps the body recognise via nerves, the type of touch, such as a soft or sharp point or heat, or whether it was a mild or severe penetration into the skin.

Healing can be assisted by using the electrical potential in a person or animal's body. Instead of using needles, an Advanced Photonic Therapy Light can be used to stimulate the skin on acupuncture points.

Light and Skin

Western medicine has accepted Infrared Glow electromagnetic diagnostic tools as reliable for a long time. The application of a magnet field to the skin produces an electrical field. This is well understood. Light applied to tissue can safely and directly induce an electrical field. Collagen in the skin converts light into a charge that is detected by our nervous system.

When red light is placed on an acupuncture point, it promotes the AMP cycle (the cellular energy cycle) directly. The AMP cycle is directly triggered when red light is shone on an acupuncture acupoint. White-blood cells are attracted to the acupuncture point and release serotonin instead of histamine. This increases circulation, reduces pain, and changes the acidity in the surrounding tissue. The wound will heal and scarring can be reduced by using red light and making it negatively charged in comparison to the surrounding tissue. The intensity of pain can be correlated to the relative acidity of an area or the positive charge of that area. All tissue is negatively and positively charged when compressed, but under tension it's positively charged. Advanced Photonic Light Therapy alters the electrical field patterns of the skin and, therefore, the function of Thalalmus, the control centre of the brain.

The red light, for example, is one of the most popular forms that can be used to treat wrinkles and fine lines as well as sunburn. Your skin will become more elastic, soft and supple after this treatment. The blue light, on the other hand, is used to treat acne and pimples. Regular use can bring you the following benefits:

  • Proper and systematic use results in an increase of collagen, which leads to the renewal of new tissues and cells. This leads to the reduction of wrinkles and fines lines on your skin.
  • LED therapy has been known to treat blemishes and acne. It eliminates bacteria from the skin, preventing it from recurring.
  • This treatment increases circulation, which will give you a youthful look by making your skin more elastic and flexible.
  • LED light therapy can provide relief for body pains and stress.
