Quality requirements for welded pipe sawing process

We can classify welded pipes according to their material and performance, which can be generally divided into: wire rod, straight seam electric resistance welded pipe (ERW pipe), large diameter straight seam steel pipe (LSAW pipe), stainless steel pipe and so on. Welded pipes are beginning to replace seamless pipes in more and more fields. After a series of treatments such as forming, welding and cooling, the welded pipe needs to be sawn off. In this link, the length of the process backup ruler directly affects the quality and sales of the finished welded pipe, so the length of the backup ruler should be controlled within ±5mm. Not only that, in actual operation, the staff must also strictly follow the following procedures:

Firstly, power is sent to the control cabinet, and then each automatic switch in the control cabinet is closed, and at the same time, the power switch of the console is closed, and the microcomputer starts. Next, the unloading start button should be closed, the internal and external control buttons of the service power cabinet should be turned to the external connection position, and the direction adjustment button should be moved to the directional position. Then press the stepping power start button and the saw blade motor start button to make it work. At this time, the microcomputer display screen shows an operation menu prompt about sawing off the welded pipe, and the staff can perform manual, simulation, automatic and setting tools according to it.

Before the operation of the equipment, check and confirm that the compressed air pressure is maintained at 0.6Mpa, and use the manual button to check whether the lower saw and the brake cylinder can move. Before running, use manual tools to move the flying saw trolley back to the zero position switch, and the trolley will automatically return to zero. After the head of the welded pipe exceeds the speed measuring roller, close the speed measuring roller and press the button, and the pulse code can work.

If you need to keep it running automatically, you should press the start key on the small keyboard, and the flying saw will automatically run repeatedly. Next, press the stop button to stop the working program, and the flying saw trolley will complete the work of sawing the welded pipe, and then return to the zero position to stop. If you want to change the tool, press the reset button on the small keyboard, even if the main menu appears on the computer display , and press to select tools and change setting parameters.

It should be noted that if the welded pipe unit needs to stop for a long time, the stepping power supply should be turned off first, and the saw blade motor will stop, which saves energy. At the same time, it is necessary to check the working pulse quality of the speed measuring photoelectric code frequently to prevent hitting the coder or making it immerse in water. According to the different specifications of the welded pipe, adjust the position of the flat head knife and the grinding shape in time. The end surface of the steel pipe after the flat head should be smooth and flat to meet the process requirements.
