LA County Fire Department CERT Training (Paramount) in Paramount

Posted by johnparker39 on July 16th, 2016

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program assists in providing training to the people so as to be better geared up to act in response to the crisis situations in their communities. When emergencies occur, CERT members tend to give significant support to first responders, offer instantaneous support to the victims, and arrange spontaneous helpers at the site where disaster takes place. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that aim to improve the safety of the community.

The CERT course is taught in the community by a skilled team of first responders who have finished a CERT Train-the-Trainer course that takes place by their state training office for managing the emergency situations, or FEMA's Emergency Management Institute (EMI). CERT training comprises of disaster attentiveness, fundamental disaster medical operations, disaster fire control & light search & rescue operations. This is a matter of great honor for the Fire Department of Los Angeles County to bring this training to the public in Paramount.

Following a major disaster firefighters, police and medical professionals almost certainly will not always be there to lend a helping hand at all times. Due to this reason, the training has been brought to the public. People will have to depend upon the society itself to resolve the problems that prove to be threatening for their lives or needs to be persistent at the time of the disaster, mainly remote neighborhoods that can be cut to the main roads or key streets for an imprecise period of time. The program of the Fire Department of Los Angeles County known as the Team Community Emergency Response (CERT) was planned to build up a basic training to save lives and make the security for the public certain at the time of the disasters.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department feels proud to present C.E.R.T. Training to the public on Monday, the 11th of July 2016 at Progress Park Plaza. The event will begin at 09:00 A.M and will continue till 23rd of July 2016. Talk to the taxi Norwalk providers to arrange for the taxi service.
