Whether it's your first time or your tenth, you will always find something new to explore in Paris. Here are some highlights:

  1. Eiffel Tower: Probably the most iconic symbol of Paris. You can either admire it from below or climb up for a spectacular view of the city. It's especially romantic at night when it's all lit up.

  2. Louvre Museum: As the world's largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris, the Louvre is a must-visit. Its collection spans from the ancient civilizations to the 19th century, including the famous Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.

  3. Notre-Dame Cathedral: This Gothic masterpiece, although damaged by a fire in 2019, is a sight to behold and holds a significant place in French history. Restoration works are ongoing, but you can still appreciate its architectural beauty from outside.

  4. Montmartre: This historic and artistic neighborhood is known for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit. You'll also find many artists ready to sketch your portrait in the Place du Tertre square.

  5. Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe: Stroll down the world-famous avenue, lined with cafes, luxury shops, and theaters. At its end stands the Arc de Triomphe, offering an incredible view from its top.

  6. Musée d'Orsay: This museum holds an extensive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces by painters like Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh, and more.

  7. Versailles Palace: Just outside of Paris, this opulent palace with its stunning gardens is well worth a day trip. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the greatest achievements of French 17th-century art.

  8. Sainte-Chapelle: This stunning chapel is known for its magnificent stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes.

  9. Seine River Cruise: Taking a boat cruise along the Seine River is a great way to see many of the city's most famous landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the Louvre.

  10. Cuisine: Don't forget to sample some French cuisine! Try dishes like escargot, coq au vin, or ratatouille, and be sure to have a croissant or baguette from a local bakery. Paris also has a number of Michelin-starred restaurants for a truly exceptional dining experience.

  11. Le Marais: Visit this historic district for its well-preserved medieval architecture, trendy shopping, and vibrant nightlife. It's also the center of the city's LGBTQ+ culture.

  12. Père Lachaise Cemetery: It may seem unusual to recommend a cemetery, but this is no ordinary resting place. You'll find the graves of famous figures such as Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, and Jim Morrison.

Remember to take your time and soak up the atmosphere in the city's many cafes, parks, and squares. Enjoy the city of love, light, and fashion at your own pace.
