Patek Philippe: A unique watch for the Children Action Foundation

For many years now, Patek Philippe has been associated with the auction organized by the Children Action association, very often offering unique pieces. This was the case in 2009 with a Titanium ref 5180T which broke a record with a winning bid of around €450,000. In 2012, this record was shattered, with another tocante from the Swiss watchmaker, the 5131J World Time, which went for more than €850,000. A unique Calatrava Pilot Travel Time!

It is an aeronautical-inspired model that is offered this year. This is a full titanium Calatrava Pilot Travel Time. This watch was launched in 2015, and is therefore available in the original Patek Philippe collection, but it is only offered in two versions: White gold blue dial or pink gold brown dial reference 5524, and a medium size version in rose gold with brown dial, reference 7234.

It is thus a new reference, the 5524T, which will be auctioned for Children Action, the only titanium timepiece in the range. It is all the more rare, as titanium is really very little used at Patek Philippe.

Very classy, it has a black dial with handmade vertical satin-finishing, which goes perfectly with the aged black leather strap, giving it a rather "vintage" look. The sapphire caseback is engraved with the inscription “Children Action 2018”. It is a self-winding watch, with 2 time zones, and which tells us the date according to the choice of the zone that we have made.

For several months now, the High replica watch has been presented to collectors, who had the chance to see it in Geneva and Hong Kong last May. It was also on display at Rockefeller Center for a few days in June.

An association that helps children

We will not see the watch again until October 15 in Geneva, for the Christie's auction, the funds raised from which will make it possible to help children all over the world. Indeed, Children Action is a Geneva-based foundation that seeks to provide concrete support to children, regardless of their country, religion or culture.

The slogan of the association is "The first human right is to have a childhood". Thus, many projects are carried out, diverse and varied, to provide access to care, provide food aid, treat cancers, or even allow the construction of schools. There is no doubt that the lucky buyer of this unique Patek Philippe fake watch will be pleased, while joining a very worthy cause.
