Beach Volleyball- A Fast Growing Sport

Posted by Valinda Roche on July 27th, 2016

In the recent times, many new games are cropping up. People have started playing games other than the conventional games like football, cricket and baseball. Beach Volleyball is one such sport. It is a team sport. Two teams with two players each battle it out on a sand court which has a net in between. The increasing popularity of the sport resulted in the sport being added to the Olympics in 1996. This was a huge boost and more people have started playing the game since then.

What are the various rules that are followed in the game and where can it be played?

The aim of this sport is quite similar to the aim of indoor volleyball. The players try to make the ball cross the net and try to make it touch the ground in the court of the opponent. They also try to prevent the fall from falling in their own court. Every team is given three chances to make the ball cross over the net. The play starts by either of the teams playing a serve which is a hit by the server from behind the boundary line. The ball has to reach the other side of the court or in other words cross the net for the serve to be valid. The rally will continue till either the ball touches the ground or is played out of the boundary lines.

There are many clubs that have been or are being developed for the training of people in this new category of sport. People are also starting to turn out in huge numbers for joining such clubs. Volleyball Huntington Beach is one such place which helps people to play this sport. They help amateurs to know the rules of the game. This is a good place if people want to play the sport for recreational purposes. Many professionals might also get their ground level training over here.

There are many websites available online that help people get the necessary training in this sport. Sandsoul.com is one such website. It is volleyball club whose main aim is to develop the beach volleyball skills of people as well as help people to follow their dreams. Such clubs also train the body, mind and spirit of the individual. Such clubs provide the perfect atmosphere for an athlete to grow.

Such clubs have a set of well-trained coaches who instill in people a passion for the sport. They also support budding players and provide them all the necessary tools to play the sport at various levels. They also organize various tournaments in the sport.
