To maintain Willow Fence the optimum cutting

To maintain Willow Fence the optimum cutting gap between gears and plates it is very important that the shredder doesn't distort or twist in use.

Consequently, quiet/crusher shredders are built to be much stronger than impact shredders.

In addition, motors and gear trains need to deliver high force and high torque to keep turning under load.

Again, high torque motors and gears must be built far more robustly than in high speed motors.

Quiet shredders are designed to work with predominantly woody waste. Even moderate amounts of green waste can block the feed hopper and stop the shredder working.

The cutter gear continues to turn but you can't feed anything more in through the dense wedge of compacted green waste.

Green waste can also get compressed into the gaps between the gear teeth. This prevents the teeth locking on to the waste and again stops the shredder Flower Pot Stand working.
