After Big TV Titanium, LIP continues to dig into its catalog in search of gems to rediscover. And this time, their choice fell on a diver straight from the 60s and 70s: the Nautic 3. A faithful but modern reissue, which does not lack charm.

A prestigious ancestry from the 60s and 70s

LIP is not new to diving fake watches uk. The date window retains its trapezoidal shape at 3 o'clock, while the hands still have their colored ends. Only the most observant will notice that the second hand is now a lolipop. For the rest, LIP has made some minor changes, to better comply with current standards. The case goes from 37.5mm in diameter to 39mm, and the Plexiglas glass gives way to a curved anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal. The unidirectional bezel is still equipped with a fully graduated aluminum insert. Finally, the screw-down crown ensures water resistance of 200m.

If the aesthetics of the original model have been scrupulously preserved, the same cannot be said for the mechanical part. We can even say that this is the biggest change and very far from being trivial for LIP. Indeed, the Nautic 3 was originally equipped with Caliber R184, an electro-mechanical movement, while the 2023 version is powered by Caliber G100. It is a Franco-Swiss automatic movement, the components of which are manufactured in Switzerland by La Joux-Perret, a manufacture enjoying an excellent reputation in the manufacture of high-end calibers, before being assembled and adjusted in France in Besançon by the Humbert-Droz company. It oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), revolves around 24 jewels, and offers a very comfortable power reserve of 68 hours.
