• Pre-Assessment: NABH will send a Principal Inspector/Valuation Team to the healthcare provider to conduct a pre-assessment. This stage's goals include the following:
•   Determining the hospital's readiness for final evaluation.
•   Examining the extent of authorization and establishing the number of assessors and duration of accreditation required.
•   Evaluating the documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and explanation of evaluation processes at the hospital.

Surveillance and Reassessment: During the three-year certification period, NABH performs periodic surveillance visits to ensure continuous compliance with accreditation standards. Healthcare providers must seek for accreditation renewal at least six months before the current validity term ends.
