Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano: new model for the 90th anniversary of the collection

In 2021, the Swiss company Jaeger-LeCoultre will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the iconic Reverso line. On the eve of this event, the company released the classic Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano watch, combining a Duoface double dial and a magnificent Fagliano strap.

Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso collection in 1931. The first Reverso watches were released under the LeCoultre label, because it was only in 1937 that Jaeger and LeCoultre merged into one manufactory.

The Reverso was originally designed as a polo watch. The unique double-sided protective case has become the signature feature of this brand line. With its sleek Art Deco design and understated geometric shapes, the Reverso has gained popularity as an elegant sports watch. On the eve of the 90th anniversary of the line, the brand introduced a new model, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano.

The Reverso Duoface watch debuted in 1994. The company decided to replace the empty watch back with another dial. Each side of the clock showed a different time zone and was driven by the same mechanism. Each dial had its own character. Two dials of different designs created the impression of owning two watches at the same time. This also applies to the new Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano.

The main dial is dedicated to local time and displays hours and minutes, and the sub-dial at 6 o'clock displays small seconds. The dial on the back of the replica watches uk shows the time of the second time zone and a 24-hour day-night indication.

The design of the case has remained virtually unchanged for 89 years. The new model's double-sided case, measuring 47 mm high and 28.3 mm wide, is made of 18-karat rose gold in an Art Deco style. The top and bottom of the body is decorated with a three-dimensional gadroons ornament.

Jaeger-LeCoultre developed the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano together with the famous Argentine brand Casa Fagliano, a manufacturer of handmade boots for polo and equestrian sports. The fake watch is complemented by a two-tone strap, handcrafted by Casa Fagliano from cordovan leather and canvas.

The watch is powered by the hand-wound Caliber 854A/2, manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre in Le Sentier, Switzerland. The oval-shaped movement measures 3.8mm in height, the right size to fit into the narrow Reverso case. The power reserve is 42 hours.
