The Japanese Seiko is ending the year in style by presenting two new watch models equipped with a GMT complication: the Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT SSK023 and SSK025. They have the advantage of having a compact case and a low price. Target ? Backpackers who travel often. Or simply lovers of watches with good quality/price ratio allowing them to follow two time zones simultaneously.

Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT: two colors, two new straps

This new collection of replica watches from Seiko offers a fixed 24-hour bezel, two new bracelets (20 mm lug spacing) and of course the eponymous GMT function. The Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT SSK023 and SSK025 are also compact with a steel case of 39.4 mm in diameter and 13.6 mm in thickness (47.9 mm lug to lug) and 147 grams on the scale for the model with a steel bracelet, 79 grams for the one with the leather bracelet.

Two case colors are available: raw steel and black. The dial is equipped with Lumibrite indexes and protected by a Hardlex glass (curved). For the price, we would still have liked it to be a sapphire crystal.

The SSK023 (steel) model is fitted with a multi-link steel bracelet (the same one that was integrated into the Field 110th anniversary) while the SSK025 model has a calfskin strap. Note that these Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT are water resistant to 100 meters and have a transparent case back.
